TOEFL Dünyanın İngilizce Sınavını Neden Yükseltiyor
TOEFL, altmış yılı aşkın süredir akademik İngilizce ölçümlerinde dünya çapında standart belirlemiştir. Son yıllarda, hem üniversiteler hem de öğrencilerle yapılan yoğun araştırmalar, testin geliştirilebileceği alanlar ortaya koydu.
Günümüz öğrencileri, idari yük az olan her yerde sınav yapmak istiyor. Ayrıca modern bir test deneyimi bekliyorlar. Ve sonuçlarını görmek için bir buçuk hafta beklemek istemiyorlar.
Bu arada, üniversiteler sınavların güvenli, güvenilir ve erişilebilir olmasını bekliyor. Ayrıca, yeni gelen öğrencilerin ders kitapları okumak ve ders dinlemekle birlikte arkadaşlarıyla iletişim kurabilmesini sağlamak istiyorlar.
Öğrencilerin ve kurumların ihtiyaçlarını dengelemek için, TOEFL'ye daha adil ve öğrenci dostu hale getiren, kalite ve titizlikten ödün vermeden güncellemeler sunuyoruz.

Bu Ocak ayından itibaren TOEFL iBT, tasarım, içerik ve puan ölçeğini modernize etti; aynı zamanda küresel kurumların 1964'ten beri güvendiği akademik titizlik ve kanıta dayalı araştırmayı korudu.
Bu güncellemeler, yarım puan artışlarıyla 1 – 6 puan aralığında bir ölçek tanıtımı ve artık İngilizce yeterliliği için küresel standart olarak hizmet eden Ortak Avrupa Referans Çerçevesi'ne daha sezgisel bir uyum sağlamayı içermektedir.
TOEFL ayrıca öğrencilere üç gün içinde puanları geri veriyor, her öğrencinin Okuma ve Dinleme bölümlerindeki yeterliliğine göre uyarlıyor ve sınıftaki akranlarıyla iletişim kurmak da dahil olmak üzere modern akademik becerileri test ediyor.
